Sam Louis Levine is a former writer for StockBrokers.com. He has over 30 years of experience in the investment industry as a portfolio manager, financial consultant, investment strategist and writer.

His specialty is making even the most complicated investing concepts easy to understand for beginner and intermediate investors.

Prior to joining Reink Media Group, Sam was a contributing editor at BetterInvesting Magazine, a contributor to The Penny Hoarder and a ghostwriter for several investment advisory firms.

He has taught stock market investing at both the graduate and undergraduate levels at Wayne State University's Mike Ilitch School of Business. Sam holds two of the most widely recognized certifications in the investment management industry, the Chartered Financial Analyst and the Chartered Market Technician designations.

He also has a bachelor's degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, where he was named Outstanding Senior of Psychology.

Sam is a United States Army veteran and was honored as a Volunteer of the Year by SEC Chairman Christopher Cox at the CFA Society of New York. He served two terms on the CMT Association's Board of Directors, where he spearheaded licensing of the CFA Institute's Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.

Sam also chaired the CMT Association's Rules committee and was a judge for the Charles H. Dow Award, the CMT Association's highest award for peer-reviewed research in technical analysis.

Sam and his wife Heather live in Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan. When not reviewing brokers or passionately scrutinizing the markets, Sam enjoys spending time with his family and playing guitar with local musicians.
