Blain founded the site StockTrader.com, now housed on StockBrokers.com, which began as a personal blog in 2007 and has become a widely consulted educational resource for traders of all experience levels. Blain's numerous stock trading educational articles have been read over 20 million times over the past decade.

At Stockbrokers.com Blain co-authors many of the site's articles and guides and is credited with creating the website's original scoring rubric for analyzing trading platforms. He has also contributed significantly to Reink Media's other Reink Media Group properties, including ForexBrokers.com and investor.com.

Blain is married and lives in Troy, Michigan, with his wife and kids. He is a technology enthusiast who loves reading, ice hockey, and spending time with his family.
