How I Test
"My research begins with collecting thousands of data points across hundreds of variables, evaluating the features that matter for beginners, casual and passive investors, and active traders. I carefully track margin rates, trading costs, and fees to rate stock brokers across proprietary testing categories.
I open personal brokerage accounts and test every available platform on desktop, web, and mobile for each broker reviewed. Nothing gets rated until I've used it myself, because I believe our readers deserve findings grounded in real, hands-on experience."
